Researching textbooks, magazines and the Internet demands commitment, discipline and follow-through if your search has any chance of being successful. Textbooks and magazines are fairly simple to research, if you see a scholarship that you might be able to apply for and win, highlight the item and apply for it. 

The Internet on the other hand, can lead you on a wild goose chase if you're not sure where to start. So why don't you check out the best profile and resource sites around, put together and listed for you, by The Scholarship & Grant Guide ™ , linked at the bottom of each page in this e-book.

We have researched countless sites and these will give you the best head start possible in your scholarship search. When you're finished with these sites and you want to continue searching, key in the words "Free College Grant and Scholarships," as they will generate additional sites for your viewing pleasure.

Remember, each search engine is different: HotBot may generate 30 or more applicable sites for you to review as opposed to another search engine, which may generate only 20.

Once you have narrowed down your sources, find those that generate more winners. Is it better to win three $500.00 scholarships that make 150 awards each or take a chance on applying for a $1,500.00 scholarship with only three awards?
